Like many of us, in the spring of 2020, as the onset of the pandemic befell, I found myself out of work and alone for much of the day. As it has since I was a teenager, my guitar became my companion and my comfort, and I found myself returning to songs that had moved me when I was younger. Before long, as I saw my friends hurting, losing loved ones, and seeking comfort, I started posting at least a song a day to social media, titled Quarantunes. A year later, we're still suffering through the pandemic, and I decided to revisit these songs to give them proper recordings. In the case of "Dawn" and "Something in the Way She Moves", I've taken the recordings from 2020 and spruced them up. In the case of "Every Night", I recorded it again from scratch. And then I added two new songs which were in heavy rotation for me last year but which I hadn't yet learned to play. I hope that this little collection helps people the least bit to get over this final stretch of difficulty, with hope on the horizon. Best wishes, and chin up!
